Portugal is promoting the European Non Stadia Championships again this weekend using the same course in Vila Real as they selected in 2005. With 1,386 competitors from 23 countries running or walking 10k/20k/30k, a half marathon plus cross-country relays on the final day, this popular holiday area of the Algarve on the Portuguese/Spanish border will be a hive of activity. Spain tops the entries with 260 competitors, Portugal has 225 and British athletes account for the third largest entry with 98.
Race results can be found on https://raceresults.reportlab.com/entries/2016/emacns/ but the link will also be on the BMAF front page.
