Track & Field Competitions in 2020

I have cancelled the Main Outdoor and Combined Events Championships for this year, as too  high leveled competition and combined events after a restricted period of limited training, will risk athletes getting injured which is the last thing I want to happen. I will however be trying to ease you back into meaningful competitive, once restrictions are being lifted to a significant degree, which is still unclear.

I also understand that some facilities will not be re-opening until possibly the end of June, but I will now outline the proposals we are trying to put in place for you.

The North of England Masters on 12th September and the South of England Masters on 20th September I am trying to make happen, as long travel and overnight accommodation are not needed, and will now seek to find if I can get enough Officials to oversee them.

I am also trying to co-ordinate a series of Indoor competitions around the country at the  various Indoor facilities in November and early December, as a further lead up to the 2021 Indoor season which culminates with the World Indoors in Edmonton, which still appears to be on the cards.

As and when these events get firmed up, I will come back with an outline of their make up etc.

Stay safe and as fit as best you can.
