At an Open Indoor Meeting on his home ground in the Emirates Stadium, Glasgow, on 21 December M40 David Graham, SVHC, high jumped 1.60m and cleared 5.86m in the long jump. The talented all rounder scored vital points for his Club in the Inter-Area Challenge in Coventry last July as well as being a vital cog in his UKA’s Club’s League team.
Evergreen W60 Clare Cameron was also in action sending the 3k shot out to 9.49m . Further North at another Open Meeting in Aberdeen on 17 Dec, M50 Mark Davidson ran 7.82sec over 60m against some U23ies. M60 William Skinner sped to a 60mH in 8. 95sec, and W45 Fiona Davidson 8.93sec and a 4.10m long jump.
At the North Yorkshire Open Meeting in Sheffield on 15th Dec. M55 David Knighton ran the 800m in 2.33.0sec. M55 Julien Gitten’s, NMAC cleared 11.49m in the Triple Jump, M50 John Twiddle sent the 6k shot out to 13.14m, M55 Jonathan Swell sped to 8.93m over 60m and M40 Dan Upton, who has already entered for the European in Braga, was also on show throwing 12.19m.
