It is with much sadness that we record the passing of Denis Field, former international triple jumper and one of NEMAA’s longest serving members at his home in Sunderland, just months short of his 91st birthday.
Active until quite recently, Denis went away from the 2014 NEMAA Track & Field Championships with a gold medal in the discus and javelin and two bronze medals in the hammer and weight. We shall miss him dearly.
