Scottish Veteran Harriers have informed us that George Meredith, who has not been active for some years, died recently aged 72.
He was a prominent member of Cambridge Harriers before moving back up over the border, and cross-country enthusiasts will fondly remember his many appearances with the Scottish team in the annual British & Irish Masters International.
