I have had an email from Alex Rotas who has been in touch with Tony. Alex writes
“I just had a chat with Tony Bowman. I’ve called him a couple of times to see how he is. He’s doing relatively well and he’s up and about but not without challenges of course.” and
“Given he couldn’t move or speak at all when he had his stroke, I’d say he’s making good progress. I haven’t seen him though.”
Which is very good news. Better yet, Tony wants to go the the Indoor Championships in Sheffield. Not yet to compete, but to stay in touch.
