The England Masters Athletics Association has announced the selection race for the British and Irish Masters Cross Country International.

Event Details

The England Masters Cross Country Team Selection Race is due to take place in Derby on 14 October, and will see a number of qualifiers secure their places in the team for the British and Irish Masters Cross Country International on 11 November in Glasgow.

Races take place over a shorter 6K distance for women and men 65 and up, and a longer 9.8K for men under 65, with entries open to paid-up members of BMAF area clubs.

Qualification

The shorter race will see the first three athletes from each five year age category selected, with the same criteria applied also to M55 and M60 athletes in the longer race.

For athletes M35-50, the first four in each category are guaranteed selection.

Full details of the selection process, and additional information, can be found on the England Masters website.
