We are delighted to confirm that the North West Combined Events championships will be staged at Edge Hill University stadium on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June this year. Google maps link. Postcode L39 4QP. The timing has been discussed extensively with Combined Events coaches to fit into the Combined Eventers calendar. This Open competition has proven to be an attraction for athletes across the country and we expect it to offer great competition for C.E. athletes.
We’re proud to be able once again to stage the British Masters’ Combined Events National championships. The largest C.E. competition in this country for veterans age groups from V35 upwards, it has been well supported in previous years and we look forward to welcoming a competition where Masters and age-group athletes compete side-by-side.
County colleagues from across the Northern region will use it to stage their own County C.E. championships making the event even more attractive in achieving current points scores in time to enter National championships later in the year.
The entry list will be opened next week and will be exclusively available for County championships athletes and Masters athletes for the first ten days. After this point the remaining spaces will be made available to all athletes for the Open championship on a first-come-first-served basis. Entries will close 5 days before the event itself.
All information about the venue, accommodation links, schedules, costs and travel will be available over the next week on our social media channels.
