This year’s BMAF T&F Championships will be held over a full 3 days (Friday to Sunday).
Last year new licencing restrictions were introduced on the use of discus throwing cages, which meant we had to finish the BMAF weight throw championships at a different venue the weekend after the main championship weekend!
A full 3 days allow now to have the full weight throw programme and to include again the 5000m, which used to be part of the main BMAF T&F championships a few years ago. A 3000m championship is also included for the first time.
The championships had to be moved from a July date to this September date, as the stadium cancelled our booked July date due to a double booking. Despite best efforts no other suitable dates/locations were available before the WMA in Daegu. This year’s September date is the same weekend as last year.
