Down in Abingdon for the SCVAC Championships on 25 May, Darren Scott knocked 1/100 of a second off Steve Peters M50 100m when he sped to an 11.47sec clocking (w1.6mps).

SWVAC Sweden-based member, Anthony Treacher, sped to a 400m 81.86 clocking and a long jump 3.69m mark whilst competing in the Stockholm County Veterans Track & Field Championships in Stockholm on 18 May. Subject to ratification, both are new British M80 marks.

Having moved into the M80 category in April, NMAC member John Watts, sent the discus spinning out to 36.44m at Stretford on 30 April, and set a new shot record (36.44m) at Burnley on 15 May.

VAC member Noel Blatchford heel-toed to a British Masters W70 10,000 metres Walk in just 1h07m59.74s at Oxford on  2 June.
