Notice to the members of BMAF Constituent Associations and Clubs

  1. The Annual General Meeting of the BMAF will take place on Saturday 27th November 2021 10.00 to 12.00
  2. The meeting will be held using Zoom with instructions on how members can register their intention to attend being posted with the agenda and other papers by 6th November on both the old BMAF and Masters Athletics UK websites
  3. Elections for officers and other motions will be held using electronic voting during the meeting. Members wishing to attend must complete their registration no later than 25th November
  4. The posts to be filled are:
  • Chairman
  • Vice Chairman
  • Honorary Treasurer
  • Honorary Secretary
  • Track and Field Secretary
  • Cross Country Running Secretary
  • Road Running Secretary
  • Race Walking Secretary
  • Head of Marketing and Communications
  • IT Manager

Anyone wishing to stand for any of these positions must obtain a nomination from either the Council (representatives from the 11 Constituent Associations and Clubs), the Executive, or the Committee of any Constituent Association or Club. Anyone seeking a nomination from the Council should contact its Chairman or anyone seeking a nomination from the Executive should contact its Honorary Secretary Bridget Cushen Each request for nomination should be submitted in time for consideration by one of the above mentioned bodies and the names of any nominees then submitted to the Honorary Secretary no later than 28th October.
