WMA’s announcement of January 10, 2024

World Masters Athletics Championships Indoor 2025 · Gainesville, Florida, USA

The brand-new Alachua County Sports and Events Center, in Florida, USA, with a state-of-the-art, world class facility for indoor track and field events, will host the 2025 World Masters Athletics

It is with great pleasure that we, together with Alachua County Florida and USA Track & Field (USATF), announce the 10th World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships will be held in Gainesville, Florida. This Championship promises to be another great experience for Masters Athletes and attendees. It might be the most convenient WMA Championship ever with 2,000 hotel rooms within 2km, shuttles to venues and much more.

The video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRNKwnop448] prepared by Alachua County demonstrates why we are excited about the LOC and having the 2025 Championship in northern Florida.

[Editor’s Note – I have not verified the 2000 hotel claim]
