WMA announces new Hurdle specifications

At the WMA General Assembly in Gothenburg in August new specifications were approved for competition in M80+ and W70+ age groups. The new specifications are shown here.

M80+ and W70+ Indoor 60m hurdles (5 hurdles)
Start to first hurdle 11.00m
Distance between hurdles 6.00m
Hurdle 5 to finish line 25.00m

M80+ and W70+ Outdoor 80m hurdles
(8 hurdles)
Start to first hurdle 11.00m
Distance between hurdles 6.00m
Hurdle 8 to finish line 27.00m

These become effective from 31 December 2025.
