Masters Regional Associations and Area Clubs

The United Kingdom, usually announced as Great Britain and Northern Ireland at International Matches, is divided into four Regional Associations and eight Area Clubs.

To the left you see my attempt to represent these graphically, indeed, geographically. England has a number of area clubs, which is why England Masters are adrifit in La Manche.

You can get much more information from the BMAF website on its Regional Associations page which carries names and contact details for each of these. It would probably be wise to check before making contact that you have the latest details by following the link to the club’s web page.

These Clubs and Associations are important because, in order to take part in National and International competitions you must be a member of one or another, as set out on our Become a Masters Athlete page
