| 1. Welcome. 2. Apologies. 3. Minutes of last meeting. 4. Resolution relating to the incorporation of BMAF and winding up of the Federation. · In accordance with decisions made its 2024 Annual General Meeting, the British Masters Athletic Federation (BMAF) be wound up with its activities and objectives transferred to BMAF Holdings Ltd (registered at Companies House, Company number 16235948) and supported by BMAF Services Ltd (registered at Companies House, Company number 11736307) as its subsidiary Company. · Any assets, after satisfaction of all its debts and liabilities have been paid (or provision made), shall be distributed in accordance with Para 14c Distribution/Dissolution of its Constitution with payments being made to its constituent Associations and Clubs or such other organisation as they might direct. 5. Financial Report. · Accounts for year ended 31 May 2024. 6. Affiliation Fees for coming year. · The BMAF Executive committee propose that affiliation fees to increase to £7.50 for year 2025/26 Secretary Note - The increase in affiliation fee is needed to protect this programme. The fee pre pandemic was larger than the current fee of £4.00. 7. Questions on Officers report. · Reports from Officers will be lodged on the BMAF website for reference prior to this meeting. 8. Election of Officers. President: (Nominated by BMAF Council) Chairperson: Vacancy Vice Chairperson: Standing: Honorary Secretary: Vacancy Honorary Treasurer: Standing: Alistair Kendrick nominated by Executive Committee. Track & Field Secretary: # Vacancy Cross-Country Secretary: # Vacancy Road Running Secretary: # Standing: Walter Hill, nominated by Executive Committee. Race Walking Secretary: # Vacancy Head of Marketing & Communications: Vacancy IT Manager: Standing: Glen Reddington, nominated by Executive Committee. # These secretaries will continue in post until BMAF Holdings Ltd is formed and then be invited by BMAF Services Ltd to continue their role in that company until the posts come up for election in a BMAF Services Ltd Annual Meeting. Secretary Note - You will see from the above that there are too few people volunteering for BMAF officer roles at present. New people are required on the Executive committee to enable BMAF to maintain its current programme of championships. 9. Motion of thanks to those people supporting the work of the BMAF. 10. AOB. |
