He does have an appetite for hard work – he has a full time profession; a family, now burning the midnight oil preparing the Accounts for our AGM on 25 August and getting the miles in for his races in Malaga. Despite all these pressures, David Oxland sailed through the laps at the Tim Wealthall Meet in Nottingham on 27th to a new M65 British Mile record time of 5.27.8sec.
Also re-writing the Record Book at the same Meeting was Victor Shirley with a new M75 mark of 6.11.8sec.
